Subhash Palekar Natural Farming Formerly ZBNF ( Zero Budget Natural Farming). Subash Palekar is an acclaimed and accomplished natural farmer and he is regarded as the torch-bearer of Indian Natural Farming. Hundreds of thousands of farmers spread across agro-climatic zones were so far benefited by his seminars, workshops and training programs across India. Having born in an agriculture family in a  small village by the name Belora in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra, agriculture has become his second nature. As a youngster, he use to ponder, why trees and shrubs in the forests, have rich growth, in spite of the fact that no one is spraying fertilizers or pesticides to it. When he learned the secrets of the nature, it was an enlightening moment to him.
His reinvented the farming techniques of our forefathers and it has helped many farmers to get a higher yield with lesser expenditure. In a way, he is successful in putting a smile on the face of every farmer who had attended his workshops... Appreciating his contribution to Indian agriculture, Government of India has honoured him with Padmashri - one of the highest civilian awards of the country. Government of India has also acknowledged his zero budget natural farming model and incorporated it in its annual budget with the aim of popularising it among the Indian Farmers.
